Tuk Tuk Thursday – 24 Weeks

Happy Thanksgiving!!

(with the photo this time)

  • How Big Is Baby: A cantaloupe, our 10.5-to-11.8-inch fetus weighs about 12.7 to 20.8 ounces and every week he/she gets closer and closer to being ready to survive (and thrive!) in the outside world. His/Her see-through skin is gradually becoming more opaque. And it’s got a new pink glow, thanks to the small capillaries that have recently formed.

  • Sleep: With some cold nights and a big comforter, still great.

  • Diet/Cravings/Aversions: Nothing too funny this week, just very thirsty.

  • Exercise: Still going strong!

  • Movement: It still amazes me every time – love our dancing baby.

  • The Belly: Belly-button is starting to flatten out; bets on if it will go outie on me?

  • What I’m Loving: All my new baby gear from generous family and friends – we are so lucky and are going to have one loved munchkin!

  • Worries: Just enjoying right now, no worries or stress.

  • Other Symptoms: Getting back to the exhausted again.

  • What I’m Looking Forward to: Moving to our new apt! (date still TBD)

  • Best Moment of the Week: MY FIRST BABY SHOWER hosted by my mom, Melissa, Carol, and Lisa – THANK YOU!  Now also excuse me while I go watch football and stuff my face on apps, turkey, stuffing, sweet potato pie, and pumpkin pie.  YUM.

Bump Progression…
